Description

This article, published in the January 2002 issue of American Journal of Public Health, explores the lives of 5 physicians in the first half of the 20th century who were LGBTQIA+. Alan Hart was one of the doctors mentioned on this list. Others included Sara Josephine Baker, Harry Stack Sullivan, Ethel Collins Dunham, and Martha May Eliot.
